Admission Requirements

 

Applications may be submitted anytime; however, enrollment only occurs at the beginning of the fall, spring, or summer semesters.


Admittance to School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Graduate program is contingent upon meeting the requirements of the Graduate College and:


1. Having a B.S., D.V.M., or equivalent degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average equivalent to 3.0 (B average), or above.

2.  GRE general test scores. A student’s probability of success in our program is increased if they have combined GRE scores of 1100, or above.

3.  For applicants whose native language is not English, a minimum score of 213 (computer-based) on the TOEFL is required.

 

* As only a limited number of stipends are available in the department, students that are applying for admittance and an assistantship are strongly encouraged to contact potential Faculty mentors prior to applying for admission to Graduate Studies.
