The University of Nebraska–Lincoln

 

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) is the largest component (total enrollment: 21,792) of the University of Nebraska’s four campus system that also includes the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. UNL has 10 colleges with three schools offering degrees in 29 doctoral, 58 master’s and 130 undergraduate areas.


There are 1,500 international students from 100 different countries enrolled at UNL, and nearly 795 are graduate students. The Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences Department has international graduate students from eight different countries. UNL’s International Educational Services, International Student Association and the Lincoln Friends of Foreign Students contribute in numerous ways to an enjoyable and culturally rewarding life in Lincoln.


Lincoln, the capital of Nebraska, is a city of approximately 235,000 located in the southeastern part of the state. While offering urban amenities, Lincoln receives national praise as a safe and clean community. Lincoln offers easy access via major airlines, highways, buses and Amtrak.
