The Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences would like to welcome Dr. Douglas Hostetler. Dr. Hostetler joined the faculty in July 2007 as an Associate Professor and will teach Veterinary Surgery and Anesthesiology. He is a recipient of the "Carl Norden Distinguished Teacher Award" and has over ten years of veterinary teaching experience. He has taught in the veterinary curriculum at Michigan State, Missouri, and Mississippi State. In addition to teaching the Principles of Surgery and Anesthesiology, he will provide leadership in the area of Student Affairs for the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hostetler earned his DVM from The Ohio State University and his Master's degree from Michigan State University.
