The School has discontinued rolling admissions effective August 15, 2011. Enrollment only occurs now at the beginning of the fall semester. Applications must be received by January 15.
Admittance to School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Graduate program is contingent upon meeting the requirements of the Graduate College and:
1. Having a B.S., D.V.M., or equivalent degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average equivalent to 3.0 in a four-point scale (B average), or above.
2. GRE general test scores. A student's probability of success in our program is increased if they have a percentile ranking of above 55% in both the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning portions of the GRE.
3. For applicants whose native language is not English, a minimum score of 79 (internet-based) on the TOEFL or 550 (paper- based) is required.
* As only a limited number of stipends are available in the department, students that are applying for admittance and an assistantship are strongly encouraged to contact potential Faculty mentors prior to applying for admission to Graduate Studies.
