Specimens delivered after hours or on weekends may be placed in the night depository located on the north side of the building. If the specimens or carcasses are too large for the depository, you will either need to deliver those specimens in good condition during open hours of the next working day, return the specimen to your referring practitioner for necropsy, or dispose of properly.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are live animals to be left in the night depository. Carcasses left unattended on the dock are in violation of city, county, and state health ordinances.
