“Novel approaches to control coccidiosis in poultry" will be presented by Dr. Deepthi Gadde, regulatory technical scientist at Huvepharma Inc.
Abstract
Coccidiosis is a widespread disease of the intestinal tract of poultry causing great economic losses to the poultry industry. The prevention and control of this disease has been accomplished by the use of anticoccidial drugs and vaccines. Novel approaches including improved diagnostic methods, innovative vaccines and technologies to monitor anticoccidial efficacy are being evaluated to improve the traditional control strategies.”
