Dr. Hille is originally from west-central Nebraska and graduated with a DVM degree from Iowa State University. He practiced beef cattle feedlot and cow/calf medicine in South Dakota for approximately five years before coming to UNL for a Ph.D. and residency in Anatomic Pathology which he completed in 2021. Dr. Hille is currently an Assistant Professor and diagnostic pathologist at the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center. His research and diagnostic interests are on infectious diseases and immunology of beef cattle.
