Best JVDI Manuscript awarded to Rodney Moxley

Rodney Moxley, veterinarian and Charles Bessey Professor in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, was awarded the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation Best Full Manuscript Award for his manuscript “Investigation of congestive heart failure in beef cattle in a feedyard at moderate altitude in western Nebraska.” The award from the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) was presented at its recent annual meeting in Providence, Rhode Island.

Moxley's research addresses the detection, prevention and control of Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in cattle, and the pathogenesis of enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC) infections of swine.
